Lindeth Howe Hotel was formerly owned by Beatrix Potter. Purchased in
1913 by Beatrix Potter Lindeth Howe became the home of Mrs Potter, Beatrix's
Mother. Today this award winning 36 bedroom hotel offers fine Country
House accommodation, set in mature gardens, with fine dining in its popular
popular restaurant serving locally sourced and seasonal produce. In the
lounges and bar there are many photos and momentos from Beatrix Potter's
time at Lindeth Howe including photographs of Beatrix Potter and her mother,
many taken by her brother Rupert, and a letter written by Beatrix Potter
whilst at Lindeth Howe.
The Beatrix Potter Experience is £260 and includes:
